Definitions

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the "data subject"), as defined in Article 4(1) GDPR.

Processing means any operation performed on personal data, including collection, recording, organisation, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, disclosure, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

Data controller is Wakelead, Inc. ("Wakelead"), reachable at [email protected].

What you are consenting to

As the data subject, acting on your own behalf, you give your freely-given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to Wakelead processing the following personal data: name, work email, organization name, and job title.

Wakelead processes this data to (a) create and maintain your account, (b) provide the Wakelead service and its AI assistant, and (c) communicate with you about your account and the Service. The legal basis is performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for service operation, and your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where indicated.

We use Amazon Web Services (regions us-east-1 and eu-west-1) as our hosting processor. Data may be transferred from the EEA to the United States; such transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplemental measures.

This consent applies for as long as your account is active. You may withdraw it at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal. After deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights as a data subject — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority — are described in our Privacy Policy.
